Honolulu’s iHeart Media radio station 92.3 KSSK spent two days and 28 total hours broadcasting their “Radiothon for Kids” from Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women & Children, airing stories of inspiration and hope across the Hawaiian Islands.  During this radiothon, thousands of listeners generously donated a total of $227,345.17!

Listeners weren’t the only ones pumped up hearing patient stories and interviews with families, staff and sponsors – all supporting this vital community asset.  Midday DJ Scotty B literally pushed himself to the limit with a challenge to his listeners…if they raised over $1000 in a certain hour, he’d drop and do 50 push-ups live on the air.
