#GivingTuesday Supports Kapiolani Medical Center’s New Pediatric Heart Center

Did you know that Kapiolani is building a new Pediatric Heart Center? This future facility will help young patients like Leila-Rose, who was diagnosed with two congenital heart defects by her doctors at Kapiolani’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after she was born. At just 5 months old, Leila-Rose was flown to the mainland with Kapiolani’s Critical Care Transport team for open-heart surgery. Watch this video to see her story, and learn how donations will help to establish the first Pediatric Heart Center of its kind in Hawaii.
